The SB Halloween release had one last surprise, the Halloween version of the BXH collaboration. For me it is disappointing because I will now have to fight with all other readers of this blog to get one. I am trying to decide if I will just wait and let the toy river flow the toy to me, or get on my hunt game. One already came and went on Yahoo.
this is right from the SB site.
this photo is from the NERD ONE site. From his post it looks like it was on sale at both BXH and SB.
FOR BLOBPUS FANS:
there is a funny animation of blobpus fighting here: http://www.anrakuansaku.com/index.html

For the last 12 years the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood has held The 12 Days of Halloween. They play The Nightmare Before Christmas with 2 other Tim Burton shorts, have a crazy organ player and have props from the movie on display in the lobby. For sure a cool event. I went last night and afterwards went to Tower records across the street to see what toys was out. Finally McFarlane released out the Corpse Bride Toys. I never wait for Spawn toys, but these are pretty cool and worth the wait.

Corpse Bride was sick, all stop animation of really rad sculpts. My girlfriend is a big Tim Burton collector, so I have been getting more into his toys since they are all over the house. The Skull kids are the my favorite so far(siked for this mini plush version), but that drunk skeleton is pretty nice too.
So the halloween Super 7 x Secret Base release is officially over. I think it showed how rad of a toy the Ghost Fighter is. I am glad Madball Mantis came out because I never really was feeling the regular Mantis. I hope we see more color version of the Madball Mantis at christmas. So now all that is left for halloween is to see how this Span of Sunset Raffle comes out and what the JAPANESE BONUS figure will be?

Finally got my BEMON! This toy is wild. Released on 8/13/05 this toy is a for sure a send up to the IKB smog monsters and other pollution kaiju. I saw it first on the BXH site but then furthur researched it to http://www.sofvi.com. Seems like this over priced soft vinyl super store in Shinjuku was the main source for this toy. Gross, bad paint, sloppy sculpt, big, limited! What else is there.
this logo is stamped into the bottom of the BEMON. Stands for SOFT VINYL HARD CORE, a great crew for these new kaiju toys coming out. Can’t wait for the IKB Gargamel set.
In the same box with the Bemon was the new set of clear invaders by Charactics. The first set was black and very nice, but this clear set with transparent paint jobs is an amazing follow up. Minis of the Invaders from the Henshin Cyborg line, they also come with this rad space ship.
