Isaac Lin: A Place Near Here

January 22, 2010 | Filed Under Art, Just Cool

Last night I went to see my pal Isaac Lin’s latest collection of work at Fleisher Ollman Gallery right here in Philadelphia. The opening was packed with friends and fans, everyone enjoying the playful space and diving into the patterns Lin creates. The photo collaborations were over the top and Lin was able to add another story to each with his signature patterns and directions.

Lin_dog Here is one of my favorite pieces from the show. These cut outs are great and would look awesome on my wall!

Make sure to check out the work when it goes online or if you are in Philadelphia go take a look in person

I am back

If there is anyone out there still checking out this blog then hello! I am back up on the blogging horse and ready to get posting again. This time around I am gonna try to write more and share more of my everyday web finds.

soakies Awesome Universal Monsters Soakies pics I found on Bounty Hunter Site.

Since the last time I posted I have become a father and it is great. I am loving life. It is nice to enter this phase of life and be ready for it with a great wife and love to accept this little nugget into our life.

I am still collecting, but just been slow these days because of a low amount of work. I have been collecting information and skill though. It is fun to learn new things and I am even taking a class. Learning new skills is really fun and help keeps me positive in all aspects of life. I like meeting new people who have information for me too. I am learning new “protocols” and methods to approach the same problems and tasks I have been dealing with for years.

I have gotten really into RSS and reading the blogs of other people. I use Google Reader, here is a link to the posts I think are fun that I find there. Since the start of the internet I looks around daily for new pages and posts, but since the rise of the blog there are so many sites to go to. Using RSS has changed the way I access all this cool info. I can spend more time reading than searching out these pages. I used to have a million bookmarks, now I don’t even use them unless a site I like doesn’t offer RSS.

So what is next for RFSO, not sure but I know I will be sharing more of my thoughts and by-products here.
